ClimateGate Just Got Much, Much Bigger

The long and the short of it is best summarized by the Telegraph’s James Dellingpole: “What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock.”

U.S. says it could help raise $100 billion to fight climate change

“If there is not even a commitment to pursue transparency, that's kind of a deal-breaker for us,” Clinton said.

Environmental groups and other nonprofits working closely with the negotiators here said the U.S. announcement –which follows major commitments from Japan, France and other developed nations — could break what has been a nearly two-week deadlock on key issues.

Carl Pope, executive director of the Sierra Club, called it “truly a bombshell.”

Doubt grows over Copenhagen talks

Climate talks at a UN conference in Copenhagen have reached a crisis point, with Germany's leader describing reports from talks as “not good” and a British politician warning of “a farce”.

Phi Beta Iota: The financial conflicts of interest inherent in Maurice Strong, Al Gore, and the two Clintons, both of whom understand both the gold certificate scam on the public and the carbon trade scam, cannot be under-estimated.  We'll say it again: the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is headed by a railway engineer with zero ethics, and has been fraudulent from the start–fraud that will cost the public much more than the oil for food corruption scandal.  The United Nations can be proud, in sharp contrast, of the High-Level Panel on Threats, Challenges, and Change, which identified the top ten threats and placed Environmental Degradation at #3, after Poverty and Infectious Disease.  Climate Change is a tiny part of Environmental Degradation, and within Climate Change, carbon emissions are a tiny part in turn.  What China and India should be doing is refusing to be a part of a conference that is both fraudulent, and incoherent.  The world needs a World Brain Institute, an embedded Global Game, and a coherent transparent approach to all ten threats across all twelve policies harmonized among the eight demographic challengers.  Anything less is both stupid and inherently corrupt.
