What is a webinar? A way to attend a seminar without leaving home; using your computer and/or a telephone, you will be able to listen to speakers, see presentations and interact with presenters and other participants during the program.

We are inviting youth-led organizations, UN agencies, government leaders, academics, research institutions and other experts to a 2 day seminar and global webinar to share experiences, connect networks, and examine present and future youth-led governance trends from different regions of the world.

The Global Webinar will:
 Share local-global lessons learned from emerging young leaders in governance and peace-building
 Strengthen national and regional networks of young social change agents and supportive adult allies
 Identify good practices of private sector involvement supporting young people in conflict transformation
 Examine strengths and challenges of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and social media for young people promoting non-violent forms of social justice and human rights
 Understand the role of gender in ICT and social media
 Learn from specific experiences from youth involved in the Arab Spring, Indigenous Peoples movementa in Canada, Latin American, South East Asia, Hip Hop and Graffiti movements, and young Muslim women’s peace-building efforts in Southern Thailand’s conflict
 Explore the role of youth in determining who will control the internet and the networked public-sphere
