ROBERT STEELE: When governments become total theater, in which promotions are based on “going along” and lies are rampant, with virtually no intelligence with integrity characteristic of any major decision domain, the small minds ostensibly in charge of government programs tend to fear what they do not understand, and defer to powers that bribe the politicians. This is one reason the governments of Ecuador, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain, among others, are so fearful of embargoes and other threatened measures — the people in charge of their Treasury departments and Central Banks are either bought and paid for — corrupt to the bone — or simply ignorant and afraid. Few appreciate that the entire existing debt could be denounced today with no actual losses to the banks — the existing debt is nothing more than more profit on top of previously extracted and deeply obscene profit. Greece is on the right track — Iceland showed the way — but for lack of intelligence with integrity, for fear of the unknown, and perhaps because a new round of bribes are having their impact, Greece is blinking. It should not blink. It should issue arrest warrants for every politician in Greece and every banker in Europe that has ever had anything to do with these criminally ill-conceived loans, and then negotiate a total quit claim. The 99% are waking up — the suicides among the bankers themselves are mounting — the day is going to come when “central banking” goes the way of the Catholic inquisition, the Holocaust, and the royal pedophile network. The times they are a'changing — and this time, unlike the 1960's — there is no going back. Public power is emergent in a manner most fine.
