Phi Beta Iota: It's amateur hour with arrogance within Trump's inner circle. To have done this without Rex Tillerson in place and overseeing a proper staff study is a sign of deep ignorance combined with deep arrogance. Not including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as well as the UK suggest a degree of corruption in their thinking that is most troubling.

On the other hand, only 173 people were actually affected by the travel ban in its early implementation (and only 109 detailed — some would call this a serious success) while the mass protests appear to be well-funded and organized and far in excess of what would have emerged without George Soros and others seeking to provoke a confrontation. The mainstream media continues to view Trump with a worst case lens.

The accidental fringe president and his behavior will keep historians engaged for the next century.
