ROBERT STEELE: I have known Karl Denninger, one of the founders of the Tea Party before it became co-opted, since I reviewed his book, Leverage. I believe he has identified the central issue of our time because of the portion of the federal budget that health care consumes, largely because 75% of that consumption is fraud, waste, and abuse. Any health care bill introduced by our President that does not take into account at least some if not all of Karl's suggestions (itemized at the link below), is destined to fail. There will be short-term pain — this will impact on the economy for a couple of years — but the savings will last forever.
