5.0 out of 5 stars Solid Support for THE Book on USG Assassination of MLK,January 17, 2012<

I am unemployed and cannot afford books the way I once could, so my review is actually applause from the sidelines, and a pointer–something I can still do as the #1 Amazon reviewer for non-fiction, toward THE book:

An Act of State: The Execution of Martin Luther King (Updated)

MLK was assassinated at the direction of J. Edgar Hoover, with the active collaboration of the U.S. Army, and one suspects with at least the tacit knowledge of Lyndon Johnson, himself complicit in the assassination of JFK. I note with reverence that Bobby Kennedy calmed a major crowd with a voice close to that of MLK, only to be himself assassinated later. On JFK see:

JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters
A Farewell to Justice: Jim Garrison, JFK's Assassination, and the Case That Should Have Changed History
Someone Would Have Talked

I have goose-bumps as I write this. So much evil has been done at our expense and in our name. I wonder if it is not devine justice that we all in our lethargy had to stand by while the corrupt two-party tyranny destroyed the white middle class, so as to more deeply appreciate what has been done to the black race across a century of harsh discrimination?

Lyndon Johnson is also the individual that personally authorized the cover-up of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, an attack that forever demonstrates that Israel considers the US to be a skicksa–a Gentile girl–that does not count. They can [ ]us all they want, we don't count. This is the corruption that money buys.

The Attack on the Liberty: The Untold Story of Israel's Deadly 1967 Assault on a U.S. Spy Ship

Here are five books I have reviewed in relation to the black community that I highly recommend:

Democracy Matters: Winning the Fight Against Imperialism
Betrayal: How Black Intellectuals Have Abandoned the Ideals of the Civil Rights Era
Waiting for Lightning to Strike: The Fundamentals of Black Politics
Buried in the Bitter Waters: The Hidden History of Racial Cleansing in America
Imagery of Lynching: Black Men, White Women, and the Mob

It merits comment–something I learned recently–that both MLK and Gandhi believed non-violence preferable to violence, but–this was new to me–violence preferable to passive acceptance of repression. The two-party tyranny in the USA has sold us all out, I believe that the economy is being “juiced” to get us to November 2012, and that we will have a MAJOR economic collapse in 2013-2014.
