Phi Beta Iota:  The media has been corrupt from its inception, but has gotten much worse since WWII.  Not only does TIME Magazine no longer fact-check, but the “controlled media” could not find the truth if they were drowning in it.  The Washington Post, New York Times, and Los Angeles Times are the worst of their ilk.  When they do a great story (e.g. Watergate) it is because a “silent coup” has been authorized and powers beyond the sleaze that manage newspapers are in play.  Money decides who gets media attention in the USA, and money is not at all interested in truth because the truth would cut money's heart out and stomp on it.  This is why we stand for the truth at any cost — and for an Autonomous Internet, Open Source Everything, and Liberation Technology.  We will not be free until we can restore the primacy of truth to public affairs.
