A talk between John Xenakis and Warren Pollock recorded in August of 2012. This is being re-posted because some of the points we talked about five months ago are first gaining traction in the press, and then they are getting spun incorrectly.

Sunni Shi-ite War in Middle East?  Turkey and Kurdish conflict?

Phi Beta Iota:  We totally discount China as a military threat.  They are winning without fighting and the Americans are too corrupt to realize that.  “String of pearls” and infrastructure investment along with exporting excess males, is more than enough to “own” the world within 50 years.  HOWEVER, US treaty obligations to Japan need to be revisited by the next Secretary of Defense to specifically exclude US support to Japan for any war over outlying islands in dispute.  We continue to be distressed by the lack of intelligence with integrity in the US Government, starting with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) that does not manage anything at all….it just fudges the numbers.  Religious intelligence and religious counter-intelligence should be a Priority Zero (above Priority One), but no one now in authority has the combination of brains and balls needed to make that happen.
