1. Bergdahl father tweet, apparently now removed.

2. Below tweet, message from a Dan Witmer, who asserts to have been colleague Bowe Bergdahl and further asserts SGT Bowe departed camp with knife, compass, and water, found gaps in defenses, and defected to Taliban.

Beard = Fuck Obama Fuck USA

Still further and most disturbing, he additionally additionally asserts that (a) USG has long known of other assertions and that the units incurred deaths trying to find SGT Bowe.  I don't know if all this is true or not, but I think it makes wonderful grist for counterintelligence and criminal investigators who should routinely debrief SGT Bowe during the standard “POW reintegration” process.  I also think the assertions are sufficiently specific that a skilled polygrapher could construct a valid “specific issue” polygraph test (as opposed to the fishing expedition screening exams most frequently constructed).

Folks, this is either a very bad case of Stockholm Syndrome or something far more nefarious is at stake.
This is not just going to slip away and we’re not going to get caught up in the emotion of Bergdahl’s release. He wasn’t “captured” — he deserted his assigned post.
