The current legal framework supports an unsustainable economic paradigm. It is based on the same principles as limitless growth. In this system, we assume that we can consume endlessly, and there will be no repercussions. We go about our business with the false notion that we are separate from nature; that humans are so dominant upon the Earth that we do not need to rely on nature for our survival. But this underlying belief is a falsehood.

Phi Beta Iota: We are at the beginning of recovery from the “Conquistador” era in which guns gave rights to predators and disrupted the long-standing indigenous human co-existence with nature. Success will be rooted in bottom-up consciousness but at the meta level, at some point there will be appreciation for the need to govern with holistic analytics, true cost economics, and open source everything engineering.
