Obama: Would be ‘personal insult' to legacy if black voters don't back Clinton

(NYT) With Democratic leaders increasingly worried about a lack of passion for Hillary Clinton among young black voters, President Obama is rolling out a new and more personal campaign message: “It’s about me.”

Obama: Low Turnout By Black Voters Would Be ‘A Personal Insult’

Phi Beta Iota: Bill and Hillary Clinton (she was co-president, kicking Al Gore out of the offices meant for the Vice President) have put more black people in jail than  there were slaves at the beginning of the Civil War. Mentored by a Grand Dragon, she has called black youth feral animals that must be brought to heel. Barack Obama has no legacy to speak of when it comes to the 99% — we are all black now — and his posturing is offensive to any person of intelligence. The problem the black people have is that they have given up their critical faculties of thought — black intellectuals, with a few exceptions such as Cornell West, have been largely worthless. Donald Trump has been no better — his campaign seems convinced it can win with the white vote alone. His outreach program for blacks (and youth, single moms, Latinos, and Asians) is beneath contempt — simply not serious. What we find troubling is that the 70% who have been disenfranchised by the two-party tyranny do not realize that this is the one year when they have the power to ask the Speaker of the House and Senator Rand Paul to introduce an Electoral Reform Act of 2016. The population is abjectly inattentive.
