ROBERT STEELE: I take editorial responsibility for the revised post title. I do consider Fareed Zakaria a Deep State whore — as with most people associated with the Council on Foreign Relations, intelligence, integrity, and imagination in the public interest are not present. Caitlin is one of the most responsible observers of the world scene I know and her fury merits our careful attention.

It is my hope that President Trump has been letting Pompeo, Bolton, and Abrams pee all over themselves these past couple of months, now is the time to fire them all and cancel the covert actions against Venezuela, bring Jon Huntsman back to the USA as Secretary of State, appoint a proper Secretary of Defense capable of creating a Grand Strategy that starts with closing all our bases overseas and cutting the 50% waste that is embedded in how we create our paper tiger military.  Let's bring ALL defense money home, stop paying dictators to buy weapons with which to repress their publics, and beat some swords into plowshares.  The President's vision for the future of America is affordable ONLY if he cuts the military by 30-40% and invests that money in infrastructure, small farms, and distributed industrial production.

I have a sense, from many weak signals, that now that the Mueller Report is out and all of us refuting the Russian collusion story are vindicated,  that the President is on the verge of a huge series of strategic moves that will run from now to 4 July and beyond. I pray this be so. We need to get America First (not Israel First) front an center.  And for those worried about our President being “owned” by  the Zionists, let me just point out that Netanhahu was kicked out of town and not allowed to speak live at AIPAC and not allowed to lobby Members of Congress.  His excuse for leaving early was contrived.  Our President sent him home.
