There is only one party in Washington, D.C., and it’s the War Party. And they are at it again.
Trade a Democrat for a Republican; trade a liberal for a conservative: It doesn’t matter. The War Party remains in charge either way. The people who thought they were voting for Donald Trump because he would extricate America from these endless foreign wars should realize by now that he is just another wuss for the War Party.
Phi Beta Iota: What we are allowing CIA to do in the way of drone assassinations is reprehensible and a crime against humanity. What we are allowing the US military to do in the way of occupying over 120 countries with US military detachments authorized to kill with impunity (never mind that CIA is incapable of providing actionable target intelligence at the individual level) is reprehensible and a crime against humanity. We need to close all of our overseas bases, terminate the CIA assassination and torture programs, and rebuild our military as a home-based DEFENSE force.
