Wikipedia Steve Emerson

It merits comment that his television documentary Jihad in America won the 1994 George Polk Award for best Television Documentary, and top prize for best investigative reporting from Investigative Reporters and Editors, BUT he was fired for it, made an outcast in the industry, AND blown off the FBI which wanted nothing to do with anything bordering on religion and religious sites.  We hold Steve Emerson in the very highest regard, and regret that like so many others who see things early, he was ignored, as was Yosef Bodansky, whose book, Bin Laden–The Man Who Declared War on America, said things that CIA”s top Bin Laden analysts were thinking but could not say publicly.

When intelligence–including public intelligence is ignored–policy and politics have become corrupt and it is time to flush those doing the ignoring out of the government.  Integrity is *the* unifying factor between intelligence and policy/politics.  Without it, on both sides of the table, high crimes and misdemeanors become commonplace.
