According to a new report from the Government Accountability Office, in fiscal years 2013 – 2018, the Department of Defense Inspector General (DOD IG) received 95,613 whistleblower complaints. As trillions of tax dollars in military spending have gone unaccounted for, the DOD IG has been receiving an average of 15,936 complaints per year.
Corruption throughout military spending has significantly weakened combat readiness, while diverting trillions of tax dollars away from infrastructure and burying our nation in record-breaking debt.

ROBERT STEELE: Although whistleblowers and the fraud, waste, and abuse they identify are important, the fact is that DoD is designed to be primarily about fraud, waste, and abuse, not about building integrated combat systems that are affordable, sustainable, and victorious. From A. Ernest Fitzgerald (The High Priests of Waste) to Chuck Spinney (Defense Facts of Life: The Plans/Reality Mismatch) to Jeffrey St. Claire (Grand Theft Pentagon) to a select number of others, the nature of US defense as a fraud cesspool has been deeply documented. Defense “engineering” (government specs, cost plus) has gone on to corrupt the entire US economy and make waste engineering a standard — no one is held accountable for doing more with less, what Buckminster Fuller called ephemeralism, also celebrated in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
Absent a Grand Strategy that focuses on America First! — a strategy that would easily include the closure of all of our 1,000 bases overseas, the termination of all of our military assistance contracts to dictators generally and Zionist Israel particularly so as to bring our troops, their wallets, and defense day to day spending home to America the Beautiful — we will never get defense right. It will always be a “paper tiger” as the Chinese accurately labeled it during the Viet-Nam war, unable to win wars. Viet-Nam was about using up our military so we would have to buy it again. Iraq was a mixed bag of furthering Zionist regional destabilization ambitions, capturing their oil, and using up our military again. In the process we have destroyed two generations of American youth, something no external enemy other than Zionist Israel and its pernicious influence on Hollywood, the media, and schools could accomplish.
What we do with national security — including an “intelligence” community that focuses on drone assassination and regime change instead of decision-support for the President — is an outrageous constant betrayal of the public trust. President Donald Trump “got that” during his campaign — I pray that he remembers his promises going forward.
