McGraw-Hill Map Censors Map of Israel's History
In March 2016 executives at McGraw-Hill took the extreme step of withdrew a published text from the market and then proceeded to destroy all the remaining books held in inventory. The book “Global Politics: Engaging a Complex World” contained a series of four maps that show “Palestinian loss of land from 1946 to 2000.”

Phi Beta Iota: Many Israeli's contest the authenticity of the above map, believing that the land was largely unoccupied and it was the Israelis alone who brought life to the desert. Gandhi is noted for having said “Palestine is to the Palestinians as France is to the French.”
