Phi Beta Iota:  Duh. Some pretty nice work here by two Carnegie authors, but they carefully avoid the obvious — you can screw 99% of the people 99% of the time only for so long.  The Internet is accelerating the process of “contagion” which means that revolutions do not occur when people are deeply repressed, but when they see brighter alternatives elsewhere and realize they have the power to say no to the 1%. All of this is very straight-forward.  It's about balance. Balance comes from intelligence with integrity, which we find lacking in all governments — even Singapore, the Nordics, and BENELUX — and Iceland — are lacking in proactive use of holistic analytics, true cost economics, and open source everything engineering, and silent — complicitly silent — in the face of great crimes by the US Government and others acting in our name and at our expense.
