Phi Beta Iota:  Brother Lawrence is mg is-directed on this one, but the intent is good.  The only thing lacking to restore democracy in the USA is integrity within the electoral process and thence within the three branches of the federal and state governments.  Congress–now controlled by the two-party tyranny–supports spending in Iraq because they get 5% kicked back into their Political Action Committee (PAC) coffers.  Electoral Reform is much more complex than the above quote implies–absent ballot access and ballot integrity, no amount of money in or out is going to change the raw fact that the USA is neither a democracy, nor represented by a government that can bring to bear both intelligence (decision-support or evidence-based policy-making) and integrity.
