ISLAMIC State is a ‘nuclear tsunami’ that wants to wipe hundreds of millions from the face of the earth in the biggest religious holocaust the world has ever seen.
The claim comes from a veteran German journalist who is the only reporter to have been allowed to operate as an ‘embed’ with ISIS and escape alive. Jürgen Todenhöfer, 75, a former MP with Angela Merkel's CDU party, became a reporter in 2000 and has specialized in war reporting. He believes the west cannot militarily defeat the self-styled Caliphate rulers and writes: “The terrorists plan on killing several hundred million people. “The west is drastically underestimating the power of ISIS.”

General Al Gray and Robert Steele made it quite clear in the 1980's that we needed to take emerging threats and non-state actors seriously, and to create an intelligence community capable of understanding revolutionary threats, and they were ignored. It has also been made clear by authorities such as Ambassador Mark Palmer and Dr. Chalmers Johnson and journalist William Blum that a national security policy of supporting dictators, elective wars, and wanton interventions in favor of corporate interests is a policy that creates enemies. Saudi Arabia and the USA created ISIS, and neither Saudi Arabia nor the USA now had the ability to destroy ISIS. ISIS requires a multi-level (strategic, policy, acquisition, operations) approach that is both whole of government in nature (defense, diplomacy, development) and multinational in nature. It requires integrity in dealing with the Syrian government — a counterintelligence flushing of the neoconservative traitors that Barack Obama has allowed to undermine the US Government — and a financial commitment of considerable proportions. It also requires recognition that Saudi Arabia is about to collapse, which will put millions of fundamentalists into chaos mode, and Israel is out of control, further feeding those fundamentalists. We can bomb ISIS and make it larger, or we can feed anti-ISIS, and gradually shrink the beast of our own making. All we require is intelligence with integrity (to include policy makers that will accept intelligence with integrity, as Henry Kissinger has pointed out on more than one occasion, intelligence in Washington is irrelevant).
