Phi Beta Iota: ISIS continues to be a modest threat for two reasons. First, the US lacks the intelligence and integrity to demand of Turkey and Saudi Arabia that they cease and desist from nurturing ISIS. Second, the US lacks the intelligence with integrity to target these rat lines of weapons in and oil out, in part because it has a heavy metal military designed to spend millions per shot — ISIS has more oil tankers than we have precision missiles, never mind that the US intelligence community is worthless when it comes to tracking real time small targets in a low-intensity conflict environment.
