Welcome to Four Years. Go.
Congratulations on being one the very first organizations to engage in this powerfully emergent global campaign. There are now more than 200 of us! Soon there will be thousands.
We are looking forward to working with you to bring forth the worldwide surge of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and action that will shift humanity to a sustainable, just and fulfilling trajectory by 14 February 2014.
We acknowledge and honor the true leadership you have already taken on these issues. It is a firm commitment of this campaign that your work becomes more effective, more widely known and contributes directly to the growing awareness that we are in this together. Together we will create a world of justice, sustainability and fulfillment. We are counting on each other.
Update on the 4YG campaign rollout.
This weekend input for the video will be finalized. No new organization names will be include in the video after Friday, February 12.
Next week the test website will be put online, including the updated video from Wieden & Kennedy. You will be able to check it out, but we ask that you hold off sending out the link until the Global Roll-Out the following week.
Throughout next week volunteers around the world will be testing the website to ensure its maximum utility and ease of navigation.
The week of February 22 the website will go “live” and the Global roll-out via viral media distribution will commence!
Please send us your logo by this weekend!
To ensure that your organization will be seen when the website goes live, please send your logo in response to this email (unless you are one of the 30 organizations who already sent your logo to Mark). Please send PNG, JPEG, or GIF file types. Recommended file size is 300×100 pixels. (Larger will do, and should look good scaled down to both 300×100 and 150×50 pixels.)
You may still have a chance to have your logo online by uploading it on the beta site during the week of testing.
As the Roll-Out date approaches, we will send out further information about how you can participate and an “Allied Organization Action Kit” of links to the video, messages that you can send to constituents, and web tools that you can use on your own website.
We salute you as one of the foundational organizations to participate in building the “urgency coalition” that will grow into a coordinated force in the world, engaging thousands of organizations and a billion or more participants around the world. The work of each of us, synergistically enhanced by the work of each other, will make the difference. Together we will look back in four years and say, “We did it. We changed the course of history.
