Phi Beta Iota: Buried within the internal report (page 16) is the following summary, Hallmarks of Disruptive Innovators:
- Introduced by an “outsider”
- Less expensive than existing products
- Trageting underserved or new markets
- Initially inferior to existing products
- Advanced by an enabling technology
That sounds like the worst nightmare for every industrial-era enterprise, including the educational, intelligence, and research systems that are “beyond repair.”
