Trump is challenging the whole CIA-media nexus
As the mainstream press continues to stir the pot and attack Trump on every possible front, day after day, they strive to impart the impression that the escalating war between Trump and the CIA is a sign that the president’s administration is in a condition of severe imbalance, heading toward the edge of the cliff.
Two points about that: the press is trying to protect its shadow brother, the CIA; and the reason a war between a president and the CIA hasn’t broken out since JFK and the Bay of Pigs is, simply, no president has dared to challenge the CIA openly.
Or to put it another way, every president since Kennedy SHOULD have gone to war with the CIA, but no president did.
ROBERT STEELE: There is no such thing as a monolithic CIA. As I have published before, there are at least seven CIA's, many of them quite evil, but the bulk of all CIA people are good people trapped in a bad system. What Trump is taking on — and Mike Pompeo may be clueless in all this — is the hard-core inner circle of CIA that is the primary foundation for the Deep State's power over politicians — augmented considerably by the blackmail made possible by NSA's spying on US politicians, judges, and others these past 20 years. Trump is deeply handicapped — he has the B Team around him, and none of them know what William Binney and I know about how easily the Deep State can be taken down. We all pray Trump realizes that destroying the Deep State requires the A Team — and the willingness to reach out to all US eligible voters — 100% of the US eligible voters with proof positive of his commitment to taking down the Deep State: the Electoral Reform Act of 2017.
