The press, the intelligence community, and the Democrats have all gone off the deep end in search of a Russia connection that doesn’t exist. They misled their readers, they made fools of themselves, and they committed a crime against journalism. And now they’re trying to dodge the blame.
Phi Beta Iota: John Brennan and James Clapper betrayed the public trust. This has been clear from the beginning. As the CIA report says in black and white on page A-13, “our findings are not based on evidence.” This was not just a witchhunt, this was an attempted political assassination with the complicity of the most senior officers in the US intelligence and counterintelligence agencies and the Department of Justice.
