Phi Beta Iota: The USA is unraveling at all levels — federal, state, and local. Trust is in very short supply because decisions are not being made on the basis of ethical evidence-based decision-support, nor in the public interest. Lost in the above article is the reality that several states are serious about secession. Vermont and Hawaii are the most likely to separate, followed by Alaska and Texas. If California were to split into 3 states, far more likely than 6, the flag would remain at 50 while Hawaii and Vermont restore their original sovereignty.
