Donald Trump Fails to Fill Alabama Stadium, but Fans’ Zeal Is Undiminished

“Hopefully, he’s going to sit there and say, ‘When I become elected president, what we’re going to do is we’re going to make the border a vacation spot, it’s going to cost you $25 for a permit, and then you get $50 for every confirmed kill,’ ” said Jim Sherota, 53, who works for a landscaping company. “That’d be one nice thing.”
Phi Beta Iota: We don't make this stuff up. Trump is a lightning rod for the pissed off red necks — very much like Bernie Sanders but a different slice of white, neither of them have a clue when it comes to Latinos (who are of all races) or people of color (who are of all ethnicities). When combined with the melt-down of Hillary Clinton, we are seeing the foundation laid for the first modern landslide victory of an Independent ticket — we expect Angus King to be trotted out by Peter Ackerman and Michael Bloomberg as their candidate, with Americans Elects funded and mobilized to get him on every ballot. In an ideal world John Kasich and Martin O'Malley, as well as Jesse Ventura and Cynthia McKinney, would be Independent candidates as well. What we are not seeing is serious coverage of why an Electoral Reform Act of 2015 would not only assure an Executive free of party corruption, but also assure the election of 20-30 Independents and small party Members so as to restore Article 1 of the Constitution and break the back of the two-party tyranny within Congress. The time has come to BURY the two-party tyranny and give the good people in the US Government — the earnest loyal hard-working good people — a new political leadership divorced from party corruption and committed to ethical evidence-based leadership in the public interest.
