Pentagon Setting Up Military Stockpiles Around World Without Risk Checks
The US Department of Defense is failing to provide risk assessments in its prepositioning of equipment including weapons in Europe and around the world, a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report said.
Phi Beta Iota: The day is coming when US military pre-positioned ships start sinking from easily applied explosives, and US military stockpiles ashore are “raided” to arm and equip non-state actors in Europe and elsewhere. The complacency and ignorance of the Pentagon cannot be over-stated.
