The Internet Identity Workshop XXV (#25)
October 17, 18 and 19, 2017
Computer History Museum – Mountain View, CA
You belong at IIW this Fall! You’ll acquire the real-time pulse of genuinely disruptive technologies that are the foundation of today's important Internet movements.
The Internet Identity Workshop has been finding, probing and solving identity issues twice every year since 2005. Every IIW moves topics, code, and projects downfield. Name an identity topic and it's likely that more substantial discussion and work has been done at IIW than any other conference!
ROBERT STEELE: I will be attending this event, and am working on getting a few other top guns there also. This is, without dispute, the single most important event in relation to the future of the post-Google Internet. These are the people who are making the web of trust — self-sovereign identity — possible. I have known Kaliya for over 20 years and consider her one of the most remarkable pioneers — she has taught me that a proper Internet must provide four rights: anonymity, identity, privacy, and security. I am working with a Norway – India team to explore the possibilities of a cyber tri-fecta (cyber-value, cyber-engagement, cyber-intelligence). It should be obvious to one and all that #GoogleGestapo, funded by the CIA and in league with NSA, needs to be put to death. This event is part of the prolonged Google death-rattle.
