Phi Beta Iota: The concept is light-years beyond the simple PC in the visor that was demonstrated in prototype at the Silicon Valley Hackers Conference in 1996 or 1997. This is definitely worth a look. One of the noteworthy features is that it includes the ability to take a photograph or video and communicate that as desired — in other words, these glasses have the potential to make every human a real-time node of the World Brain. Where Google continues to fail — no doubt a side effect of being too close to the US secret intelligence community that fails in the same way — is in relation to sense-making. Right now it is a massive trivia game, nothing more.
