This chapter covers existing negative and positive forces of strategic importance, four critical reforms needed to put the United States of America back on track as a Republic, and related details including the need for a Whole of Government strategic decision-making capability, respect for the ten high-level threats to humanity and the ability to harmonize all twelve core policies, in partnerships with the eight demographic challengers.  Web 4.0 is discussed as achievable now.  Clicking on cover leads to entire book online, below leads to this chapter only.

Election 2008 Chapter: Legitimate Grievances

This chapter is in two sections.  The first section draws, with permission and respect, from the work of Kirkpatrick Sale and others devoted to the study of secession as an ethical, legal recourse for elements of the United STATES of America that feel the Constitution has been violated beyond repair, and that the Federal Government, created as a narrowly-defined service of common concern subordinate to BOTH the individual STATES and to We the People as a collective body, is no longer viable and should–as the Founding Fathers foresaw–in need of abolishment.

The second section reviews the many reasons why the rest of the world is angry and disdainful of America, not its people or its core values as rooted in the Constitution, but rather the misbehavior of the federal government acting “in our name” and funded by our tax payments.  The ineptness of America's foreign policy–regardless of which side of the two-party tyranny is nominally in power on behalf of Wall Street–cannot be appreciated without understanding both the domestic and the foreign grievances that are legitimate beyond doubt.

Election 2008 Chapter: Candidates on the Issues

SHORT URL: https://tinyurl.com/2008-Issues

This chapter, with a tip of the hat to On the Issues (click on their logo to visit their site), looks at where each of the candidates stands on the multiplicity of issues that are used to divide America, focusing on the 20% where we disagree rather than the 80% where we do agree.  Noteworthy in the graphic that begins the chapter is the fact that only two people stand-out today as truly centrist: Republican-Libertarian Ron Paul, and Pissed-Off-Polpulist Robert Steele.

This chapter draws heavily on the Wiki-pedia coverage of the topic, at the time one of the few topic uncorrupted by editing and ideological wars.  As we have seen in the continuity of operations and philosophies from the Bush-Cheney to the Obama-Biden Administration, the only thing that mattered, who controlled the U.S. Treasury, has not changed: it is still Goldman-Sachs.  Click on the cover for the entire book in PDF as well as all chapters individually, below for this chapter alone.

Election 2008 Chapter: Call to Arms, Fund We Not Them

This chapter provides a straight-forward means for restoring self-governance by using modern information and communication technologies to reconnect We the People with both real-world real-time intelligence, and with our tax dollars that are looted the minute we lose sight of them.

Working with Joe Trippi and Jock Gill, among others, we have clearly established that $1 trillion a year is achievable in very small donations from many individuals across the one billion rich.  We do not need governments as intermediaries for funding the big-ticket items–Collective Intelligence has now matured to the point that governments are stupid and the people are not.  As Norman Cousins has noted, only the people can perceive the great truths.  Click on the cover for the entire book, below for this chapter only.

Handbook: Election 2008 Annotated Bibliography on Reality

Below is the Annotated Bibliography that completed ELECTION 2008: Lipstick on the Pig.  It was designed to be a “handbook” of sorts on Reality.  We like to paraphrase Trotsky, with a tip of the hat to Alvin Toffler who quoted him in War and Anti-War: Survival at the Dawn of the 21st Century:

“You may not be interested in reality, but reality is interested in you.”

Trotsky was referring to war.  For the Public Intelligence Blog, reality is war, and our worst enemies are domestic in nature, causing self-inflicted wounds vastly more fatal than any foreign armed adversary could produce at any cost.  The categories in the graphic below are repeated legibly below the graphic.  This Blog superceeds the below bibliography, which only cover about 500 of the 1500+ books that are more easily accessed here within the Blog–as a gift to others, however, the below document can be useful as a starting point.  This is all the stuff neither the government nor the media are willing to cover seriously in the public interest.
