Collective intelligence is the opposite of artificial intelligence
My idea is to use a universal categorization system that would be very supple like natural language; you can say anything you want to describe a document. You are not obliged by any kind of rule to describe it this way or another.
ROBERT STEELE: I traveled to Ottawa to meet Pierre Levy a decade ago, and consider him one of the dozen most important people in the emerging arena of collective intelligence. He get it: it is not about machines, it is about connecting all human minds to all information in all languages all the time. Perhaps he is in the top three, not just the top dozen. This is a man whose idea can indeed change the world, if combined with a public embrace of holistic analytics, true cost economics, and open source everything engineering.
