Why the Sandy Hook “Pozner v. Fetzer” Lawsuit Matters: What’s Really at Stake
The case before the Court represents a gross abuse of process, because its underling motivation has nothing to do with defamation but with the First Amendment, our freedom of speech and freedom of the press, in the absence of which the United States Constitution is meaningless—a relic of ages past, in which Americans had the right to speak their minds and to publish opinions without interference from institutions acting as surrogates of the government.
