TSUNAMI OF 5G/WIRELESS BILLS ENTER CONGRESS, PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN OUR TARGETED ACTION BELOW

INCREDIBLE NEWS!!! Laurie Brown, a teacher at LA Unified School District and someone whom I have the great honor of knowing as a fellow EHS/microwave poisoned person here in LA, has won one the first that I know of, EHS case against LAUSD and possibly in the country!!! This has ENORMOUS ramifications for all of us but especially for children and teachers everywhere!! Here is an article about the suit. HUGE congratulations to Laurie who has been fighting this for years now, ever since she was microwave disabled by the WIFI in her school. I once visited the school and indeed it was extremely powerful WIFI and even the “low power density area” that we were in made me sick for the whole next day.

Okay, back to reality…I was going to send out a news letter this week but wanted to make sure you gave the below special attention.

Just as Laurie wins her case, there is a huge TSUNAMI of new 5G/small cell/wireless bills that have been introduced in Washington,16 and counting, every single one of them designed to undermine our ability to block 5G/small cell and any other wireless installations. Why now, is anyones guess, but my top 3 would be:

1) We all have been so successful at stopping or slowing their deadly surveillance infrastructure that they are getting desperate.

2) Lock downs may be loosening, people are beginning to get their rights restored and this roll out will not have such as easy time as in the beginning while we were all under strict lock down.

3) With Vice Pres. Kamala Harris in the house – The White House, access has never been easier, as her husband, Doug Emhoff, is a top AT&T attorney. Getting the White House to sign off on virtually anything the industry wants will be a cake walk…not that it wasn't before, but I believe the situation has escalated, to put it mildly.

Because a total of no less than 16 new wireless bills and counting, have been introduced but are still in committee, meaning they have not yet gone to the floor for all of Congress to vote on, we feel the time to act is now as this industry moves fast and we need for our reps to start hearing our POV before they make any misguided decisions that could last for decades…any one of these bills has the potential to negatively impact our lawsuits, let alone our communities.

We have created a “click to call” action that encapsulates all of the bills and committees they have been assigned to. It is vital that “we get out ahead of these bills” and your representatives hear from you, or they may all pass. But even if ONE of them passes we are in deep water. Please take a few minutes out of your busy day to help us stop these lethal 5G/small cell/wireless bills.

Note: We are focused only on those Congressman/women who sit on the committees these bills are currently in. Below is a list of the committees where these bills have been introduced, should you wish to check to see if your Congressman/woman is on any of the committees. Even if your representative is not on these committees, it could help for them to hear from you on this issue because unless we can stop them, ALL of these bills could go to vote and pass!

Below are all the bills should you care to read up on them.

1) H.R. 1069: To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to provide that the Federal Communications Commission is not required to perform any review under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 or Division A of Subtitle III of title 54 United States Code as a condition of permitting the placement and installation of a communications facility and for other purposes.

2) H.R. 1056: To provide that a project for the collocation of a personal wireless service facility is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

3) H.R. 1043: To provide that an eligible facilities request under section 6409(a) of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

(Note: Section 6409 of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012, 47 U.S.C. § 1455(a), reads in pertinent part: “…a State or local government may not deny, and shall approve, any eligible facilities request for a modification of an existing wireless tower or base station that does not substantially change the physical dimensions of such tower or base station.” (emphasis added). https://wia.org/wp-content/uploads/Advocacy_Docs/6409a_Siting_Checklist.pdf

4) H.R. 1084: To provide that a project for the deployment or modification of a communications facility entirely within a brownfield site is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

5) H.R. 1060: To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to streamline siting processes for personal wireless service facilities, including small personal wireless service facilities and for other purposes.

6) H.R. 1064: To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to amend provisions relating to franchise term and termination and provisions relating to the elimination or modification of requirements in franchises, and for other purposes.

7) H.R. 1058: To amend the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 to amend the definition of eligible facilities request, to codify the 60-day time frame for certain eligible facilities requests, and for other purposes.

8) H.R. 1073: To provide that construction, rebuilding, or hardening of communications facilities following a major emergency declared by a Governor relating to a wildfire are not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

9) H.R. 1044: To create a task force at the Federal Communications Commission to ensure the policy and funding decisions of the Commission are informed by data collection and analysis required in title VIII of the Communications Act of 1934, and for other purposes.

10) H.R. 1045: To amend the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012 to amend the definition of eligible facilities request, to codify the 60-day time frame for certain eligible facilities requests and certain eligible telecommunications facilities requests, and for other purposes.

11) H.R. 1053: To provide that a project to remove and replace communications equipment or services listed under the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act of 2019 is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

12) H.R. 1074: To provide that the deployment of a small personal wireless service facility shall not constitute an undertaking under section 300320 of title 54, United States Code, or a major Federal action for the purposes of section 102(2)(C) of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, and for other purposes.

13) H.R. 1050: To provide that a project to replace or improve a communications facility following a major disaster or an emergency declared by the President is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews, and for other purposes.

14) H.R. 1039: To provide that a project for the deployment or modification of a communications facility entirely within a floodplain is not subject to requirements to prepare certain environmental or historical preservation reviews.

15) H.R. 1051: To amend the Communications Act of 1934 to streamline siting processes for telecommunications service facilities, and for other purposes.

16) H.R. 1067: To streamline the process for consideration of applications for the placement of communications facilities on certain buildings and other property owned by the Federal Government, and for other purposes.

PLEASE PASS THIS ACTION ON! WE MUST STOP THESE BILLS FROM BECOMING LAW!
