“Harvard’s Sunstein Joins Biden’s DHS to Shape Immigration Rules” [Bloomberg]. “Former Obama administration official Cass Sunstein on Monday joined the Department of Homeland Security, where President Joe Biden is moving rapidly to roll back Donald Trump’s immigration policy priorities. Sunstein is a senior counselor who will be responsible for making sure that the rules put forward by the department and its agencies are based on evidence and consistent with the law, an administration official said. Sunstein, a law professor at Harvard University, was administrator of President Barack Obama’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs from 2009 to 2012. His work with Biden goes back three decades to when Biden was the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Commission and Sunstein weighed in on judicial nominations and constitutional interpretation.” • Ugh. Can Rahm Emmanuel and Larry Summers be far behind? Sunstein is co-author of this interesting article from 2008 (PDF): “Conspiracy Theories.” The Abstract contains this nugget: “Because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups.” Source
ROBERT STEELE: There was a time when I considered Cass Sunstein moderately intelligent and useful. He is a prolific author whose one book I reviewed in 2001 most favorably may have been the last vestige of sanity this man possesses:
Then he appears to have lost it and is today what Nassim Nicholas Taleb might call an “intelligent idiot” who can give off the semblance of learned discourse but actually does not have a fucking clue. One book he clearly has either not read or did not understand is this one:
Review: Why Societies Need Dissent (Oliver Wendell Holmes Lectures)
another book he clearly cannot compute is this one:
Review: The Wealth of Networks–How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom (Hardcover)
Here is a sample of his conspiracy theory work, work that suggests that he may be employed by the CIA, the Mossad, MI-6, or some combination of dark forces that have a real problem with truthers and are themselves a conspiracy:
“(1) Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counter speech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counter speech. (5) Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help”

His views are in direct contravention to the 1st Amendment; Title VII (anti-discrimination), and in passing, the Communications Decency Act with which he is supposed to be familiar — censorship is forbidden as a condition for indemnification with respect to content. If you censor you become a publisher liable for violations of the Constitution and all applicable laws and regulations.
Sunstein is not stupid therefore we have to ask if he has been bribed, blackmailed, or brainwashed into articulating these odious views that appear to be part of a larger conspiracy of cyber-stalking (a federal felony), defamation, and tortious interference against patriots and civic-minded citizens — terms he evidently conflates with extremist terrorists. Note:
Robert Steele: Media Hit Job Campaign Against Q Anon & Truthers on Satanic Pedophilia
By all appearances this man is one of the most fucked up people in the faux Biden Administration, to the point that I actually wonder if he might not be a brilliant patriotic undercover operative for the White Hats, whose mission in life is to be emblemic of what authoritarian idiocy looks like. If so, he has been a grand success.
For those with a brain who wish to understand the Q Anon and Great Awakening phenomenons that are running parallel with global prayer and medication as all our positive vibrations spike, consider these two links:
In the 1970's the longest running movie in Boston was called “King of Hearts.” This from Wikipedia, which excels at the unimportant and appears to lie about everything else:
King of Hearts (original French title: Le Roi de cœur) is a 1966 French comedy-drama film directed by Philippe de Broca and starring Alan Bates.
The film is set in a small town in France near the end of World War I. As the Imperial German Army retreats, they booby trap the whole town to explode. The locals flee and, left to their own devices, a gaggle of cheerful lunatics escape the asylum and take over the town — thoroughly confusing the lone Scottish soldier who has been dispatched to defuse the bomb.
We are there. The faux Biden Administration is criminally insane and insanely criminal. Cass Sunstein is the prat boy — the boy that wipes the king's ass. Telling Sunstein apart from the king's shit is now the intellectual challenge of the day.
