ROBERT STEELE: Well worth a full read. Will and Ariel Durant, in The Lessons of History, end with the thought that the only inheritance worth passing down is true deep education, the accumulated knowledge of a lifetime. We are going in reverse. Our young people know less and less, and while they might be adept with technical devices, they are becoming “intelligent idiots” as Nassim Nicholas Taleb puts it. We are literally burning all the books in our virtual library and we are letting #GoogleGestapo (Amazon, Facebook, Google, MeetUp, Twitter,  YouTube and others) get away with digital genocide.  What's not to like?
