Trump Administration Quietly Rolls Back Civil Rights Efforts Across Federal Government
Previously unannounced directives will limit the Department of Justice’s use of a storied civil rights enforcement tool, and loosen the Department of Education’s requirements on investigations.
Phi Beta Iota: If there were ever a time when our legitimately-elected President could aspire to inspire half or more of the US black voters to abandon the Democratic Party and support a unity platform, now is that time. Our President — and his Attorney General — are not just refusing to render tangible policy benefits to the black community, they are attacking the black community — increasing police militarization, increasing drug penalties as a tool of the bankers red-lining black districts and putting slaves into prison (a continuation of the Clinton Crime Bill), and failing to legalize marijuana, the single greatest “excuse” for putting people in jail and collecting fines. If the President does not pay attention in June, not only might he be impeached by a Democratic House in 2019, but also convicted by a Democratic Senate. A major pedophilia scandal is coming that will take down two Republican Governors, four Republican Senators (or more — as many as twelve) — and very likely also the Vice President of the United States.
