Plato emphasized education of the public as the single most important role for government — to assure a strong smart wealthy nation the public needs to be educated. Similarly, as Ben Gilad cited one CEO in Business Blindspots, “until you get the truth on the table, no matter how ugly it is, you are not in a position to deal with it. And then you have research — trillions not just waste, but wasted in ways that are criminal.
The graphic below sums up my views on how President Donald J. Trump can become the greatest president ever and achieve all of his goals and more in relation to making America great again.
I elaborate on the above in my briefing, If I Were President, but will summarize the key pieces here:
01 President is too important to be dealing with each of the Cabinet Secretaries individually. He needs three Deputy Vice Presidents, one for the Commonwealth, one for Global Engagement, and one for Education, Intelligence, & Research. He also needs a Governors Council and a Mayors Council. The budgets and the contents of what pass for education, intelligence, and research must be under one person with absolute authority over key personnel and line item approvals.
02 President cannot rely on the intelligence and counterintelligence agencies — nor on the Cabinet agents — for decision-support. He needs a President's Own Open Source Agency at $2 billion a year (twice approved by OMB at that level of funding) that will not only fund Web 3.0 that cannot be censored and will be the backbone of re-educating the public; but a Trump Studio and a Trump truth channel that is two-way and reaches every citizen, every resident.
03 The secret intelligence world needs to be cut by up to 70% and then consolidated at a restored Central Intelligence Agency, with the 30% from each agency becoming a new Directorate (e.g. the Directorate for Signals Intelligence replaces NSA); the savings can be transferred to the jobs program at the same time that all those whose jobs are eliminated in the secret world are offered a “soft landing” of up to two years duration with full salary and re-training and even re-location assistance. The office of the DNI can be abolished. Mike Flynn remains my hoped for candidate to replace Gina Haspel who betrayed the President when she was Chief of Station London working to discredit the President under the direction of John Brennan and in alliance with MI-6, which is — along with the Mossad — one of our President's greatest enemies.
04 The Open Source Agency will not only be able to very rapidly displace #GoogleGestapo and create Web 3.0, perhaps, as I originally suggested, centered on the US Post Office, but it will also provide the disseminated knowledge to spark a Made in America localized self-sustainability movement that creates millions of new jobs to replace the ones lost to the melt-down of the fraud economy, leveraging Open Source Everything Engineering (OSEE) to make everything achievable at 20% or less of the cost originally envisioned.
05 The entire Global Engagement ecology — commerce, defense, development, diplomacy, treasury — demands a complete reinvention. I have offered a starting point with my new work on Reinventing National Security (but my primary focus is education, intelligence, and research, and ensuring that the President, and the public, are armed with the truth on everything).
