Rorate-Caeli Catholics Against Inter-Faith Dialogue (1 Jan 2011)
CURRENT Reactions
Note: Many Catholics are violently against inter-faith reconciliation as was the Pope himself as a Cardinal. These are complex times, and religions waging asymmetric war have joined failed states and Cold War states as part of the problem. While the Pope is assuredly correct with respect to the persecution of Christians, in reality the continuous sustained attacks on Muslims by Western powers and their allied dictators are equal cause for alarm. What comes across to us is that as much as inter-faith dialog and deliberation is necessary, the Church has a great deal of truth & reconciliation to do internally before it is fully fit to engage other faiths.

Public intelligence in the public interest is what the religions of the world can focus on: doing for the public what governments and corporations will not do…eradicating both corruption and scarcity, educating the five billion poor one cell call at a time so as to create infinite wealth that translates into a prosperous world at peace. Pray, but verify.
