The Pentagon and the CIA Are in Charge

Yesterday, President Trump, yielding to the overwhelming power of the Pentagon, CIA, and NSA, announced that he has decided to keep U.S. troops in Syria indefinitely, thereby abandoning his intention announced last March to instead bring U.S. troops in Syria home.

…the Pentagon said no to South Korea, just as it said no to Trump. Here is how yesterday’s New York Times reported the matter: “Last month, American military commanders in Seoul stopped South Korea’s plan to send a train across the inter-Korean border and run it on a North Korean railway, to test the rails’ condition.” What? Who’s in charge of the country — the South Korean government or the U.S. military?

Independent Politics, How American Disdain for Parties Leads to Political Inaction, by Samara Klar and Yanna Krupnikov, 2016. Cambridge U. Press, 200 pages.

The authors are political scientists. Klar is at the University of Arizona and is a registered Democrat. Krupnikov is at Stony Brook University and is a registered independent. In 2017, the book received the Best Book Award from the American Political Science Association’s Experimental Politics Section; it also won the Robert E. Lane Award for best book from the APSA’s Political Psychology Section.

In 1992, six political scientists published research on independent voters. That book was The Myth of the Independent Voter. It showed that a large majority of people who said they were independents actually strongly prefer either the Democcratic Party or the Republican Party. These people were termed “leaners.” At the time, 40% of the public said they were independents, but the book established that true independents were closer to 5%.

As a case officer for the CIA I had five times the regional recruiting and production average over the course of an extraordinary three back-to-back tours, one in a war zone. As a contractor analyst in Afghanistan in Fall 2013 I knew within 30 days of arrival that Karzai would never sign the Bilateral Security Agreement (my first clue was his order to the Afghan Army to never, ever, call for NATO air support). As a patriot I wrote the first major post and the first major article on the Russian collusion false flag attack on our president, and the soft coup that it represented. I have run a false flag for CIA and myself been threatened with assassination by the leadership of a specific country where I was cultivating the extreme left. I know how all this stuff works.

Bottom line up front: Plan A is off the table, Plan C will fail, Plan B is “hot.”
