I read “How Google Book Search Got Lost.” The write up in Backchannel was interesting to me for two reasons. First, the essay continues the revelations about Google as a balloon with a pinprick. After inflation, the pressure seeps out and one has a deflated balloon. What’s a deflated balloon good for? I suppose I could Ask Heloise, but I don’t care. Second, the analysis ignores the obvious; that is, Alphabet Google is not managed in the sense that GM is managing to develop an electric car or Boeing to use 3D titanium printing to get rid of pesky humans. Google, from its inception, wobbles. Few business schools teach students how to wobble. Bright folks discover this skill on their own, particularly when careening around with money readily available and Silicon Valley vapors in their nostrils. The below two links are extraordinary.  The first is an alleged official US Government document that could have been written by an intern, it is completely lacking in both intelligence and integrity — it reminds us of John Brennan's pack of lies about the Russians hacking the election.  The second link is a reclama by an MIT professor that more or less conclusively demonstrates this was a false flag attack executed at ground level with a make-shift device.

I think that the so-called “elites” in charge running the USA are infinitely arrogant, stupid, uneducated, incompetent and irresponsible.  I don’t buy the “managed chaos” theory nor do I buy the notion that if before the Anglo-Zionists imposed their order on others now they impose their dis-order.  Yes, that is the consequence of their actions, but it’s not part of some diabolical plan, it is a sign of terminal degeneracy of an Empire which is clueless, frightened, angry and arrogant. The problem is that every sign of Russian caution and every Russian attempt to de-escalate the situation (be it in the Ukraine, with Turkey or in Syria) has always been interpreted by the West as a sign of weakness.  This is what happens when there is a clash between a culture which places a premium on boasting and threatening and one which believes in diplomacy and negotiations.

In a recent Tweet, John Robb states that Trump thought, mistakenly, that his candidacy was about him. No, rather it was about his insurgency and the ideas justifying it. Justin Raimondo has recognized this in his own way in a new column (plus others) where he makes the case that Trump the man is much less important than Trumpism, and that is now time to acknowledge and take new actions based on this recognition. Trump's greatest feat of all has been to educate large numbers of people about how the world really works, and he has done so even by his very betrayal of the principles, in the Syrian US bombing, that he has been “trumpeting” for months now. Maybe “Trumpists” need to start thinking beyond the person of Trump at this point, and focus instead on building a Trumpist movement, especially if he is, as I think likely, going to undertake new and fresh betrayals of Trumpist priorities and ideals. Perhaps paradoxically, revolting against Trump the Betrayer is a Trumpist action. It is also a recovery of Trumpist ideals.
