The main theme of the 2020-2021 Strategic Monitor, “Geopolitical Genesis: Dutch Foreign and Security Policy in a Post-COVID World”, is that now is the time for the European Union to consolidate its status as a nascent global power, and that the Netherlands must play an active role in this.

Phi Beta Iota: Some useful conclusions but the European Union is dead, as is the Commonwealth. The Netherlands remains the top country for intelligence with Integrity and for a deep Internet.

When Amazon quietly removed Ryan Anderson’s best-selling book When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment, from its site last week, the bookseller gave no reason for the removal. But given the ascendancy of the transgender movement on the left and in the Biden administration, it is likely that Amazon has decided that a conservative book by a scholar asking for debate on the issue of transgender identity could no longer be allowed.
