Pentagon Report Predicts Collapse of US Military Within 20 Years

Faced with the challenges of global climate change as well as the refugee crisis and armed conflicts it will create, the U.S. military may very well collapse.

That’s the dire conclusion of a Pentagon-commissioned report about the future of the military, first published online in August with little fanfare and recently surfaced by Motherboard. The takeaway is clear: if humanity continues to destroy the environment, American infrastructure could collapse and the military would be so ill-equipped to respond that it too would fall apart.

He sucked all of the wind out of the national momentum toward constitutionalism that had been building in earnest during the past three decades. He has silenced patriot radio talk show hosts, Internet bloggers and columnists and has ensconced Zionism into the heart and soul of American politics. But all of that is NOT the worst of it. The central thesis of my new book Will You Be Richer or Poorer? is the financial “wealth” we've supposedly gained (or at least a few of us have gained) in the past 20 years has masked the unraveling of our intangible capital: the resilience of our economy, our social capital, i.e. our ability to find common ground and solve real-world problems, our sense that the playing field, while not entirely level, is not two-tiered, and our sense of economic security–have all been shredded.

A New Way to Measure Human Progress

Over the last 30 years, the shift from looking just at GDP to judging countries on health and education outcomes has produced real progress, as the world has improved its human development index by over 20% since 1990 and, more meaningfully, in the least developed countries by over 50%. If we want real action on climate, we now need to include damage to the environment and depletion of natural resources as factors in measuring development. Otherwise all these fine-sounding speeches are just more hot air.

Note: Thanks to The Fed Up Democrat for a fantastic summary of the Harlem Vaccine Forum event on Saturday. Al Sharpton, no stranger to controversy or confrontation, begged off at the last minute. That's a shame. African American toddlers are in the thick of the vaccine debate. CDC Whistleblower William Thompson has stated in no uncertain terms that the CDC fudged, altered, massaged, changed data signals that implicated autism and the timing of the MMR vaccine specifically in black toddlers. How many families are facing autism today because of the CDC's lies and corruption? And why doesn't Al Sharpton, or any prominent Black leaders in America care?
