Sepp Hasslberger: A Super Economy without Money — and Michael Hudson on Need for Debt Jubilee

Universal Economics (UnEc) is a non-money alternative economics system which combines the efficiency of a market economy with a strong philosophy of social responsibility. It was first visualized in 1947 by philosopher Addison Brown, in a rudimentary form, as “Prior Choice Economics.” But the technology for implementation did not exist at that time. Now it does. We are not in a recovery and we’re not really in a traditional recession. People think of a business cycle, which is a boom followed by a recession and then automatic stabilizers revive the economy. But this time we can’t revive. The reason is that every recovery since 1945 has begun with a higher, and higher level of debt. The debt is so high now, that since 2008 we’ve been in what I call, debt deflation. People have to pay so much money to the banks that they don’t have enough money to buy the goods and services they produce. Read Interview

Kevin Barrett: If Trump does these ten things he’ll be the greatest president ever

If Trump does these ten things he’ll be the greatest president ever

  1. Expose the truth about 9/11, which is that it was a neocon coup designed to unleash Islamophobia to benefit Israel.
  2. Reinstate the Constitution by repealing all post-9/11 police state legislation and pushing through draconian restrictions on all forms of spying, search and seizure, etc.
  3. Push through Steele’s Election Reform Act, ending the corrupt two-party duopoly.
  4. Close down US military bases worldwide and return to a defend-the-borders posture.
  5. Use the savings to rebuild America’s infrastructure.
  6. Force big corporations to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. (If he leaves office in 2024 with the percentage of made-in-USA stuff equivalent to what it was in, say, 1970, he will have succeeded.)
  7. End the Fed and print honest, Constitutional currency.
  8. Pass and enforce real anti-trust legislation so there can be no more monopolies or collusive trade practices, period.
  9. Push through the Constitutional amendment that would be needed to end private funding of political campaigns by the rich and special interests.
  10. Bust up big media into thousands of much smaller pieces, and use antitrust laws to keep them small.

The above list is pretty much what it would take to “Make America great again.”

Trump & Woolsey: Was There a Bait-and-Switch?

In early September 2016, in a move that should have received far more attention than it did, Trump appointed former CIA director James Woolsey as his senior advisor on national security issues. Woolsey is a key member of the neoconservative Project for a New American Century (PNAC). When asked about U.S. national security priorities the day after Trump’s election, Woolsey responded that it was necessary “to get straight who our friends and adversaries are.” He asserted that “Israel is our friend”. In September 2015 James Woolsey was appointed to the strategic advisory board of U.S. oil and gas firm Genie Energy Ltd., along with Rupert Murdoch, Lord Jacob Rothschild and Dick Cheney. Genie Energy Ltd. has been involved in the Golan Heights – the long contested area of Syria that is now known to be rich in both oil shale and fresh water, for almost a decade. UN Security Council Resolution 242 declares that Israel must withdraw from all lands occupied since the 1967 war, including the Golan. The international community considers the Golan to be occupied territory and Israeli settlements there to be illegal.

If we are going to have a say in politics, we need a way to express our views and preferences. Flux, an app for direct democracy is now being tried out in Australia…

Upgrade the system and return power to the people

Flux is a new political party designed to connect Australians directly to Parliament and change politics forever!

Flux will operate in the form of an app you can access right from your computer or smartphone. You’ll be given a vote on every bill put before Federal Parliament, and can use that vote immediately on the issue at hand, give it to a trusted third party to cast on your behalf, or save it for an issue you care more passionately about later…

MEMORANDUM

Subject: Three Big Problems, Three Big Solutions

You face three big problems right now, all of which need to be addressed right now.

01 It is highly likely that a future round of leaked emails will include compelling evidence of how the RNC and DNC have co-conspired over the years, to include the RNC asking the DNC to shut down the Iran-Contra investigation being led by Senator John Kerry. We are going to face the same public anger that the DNC drew from the Sandernistas, but from a larger spectrum of the public seeing new evidence of betrayal by what is now commonly known as “the two-party tyranny.”

02 The “Purple Revolution” is going to get much much uglier. The genie is out of the box, the next big leap is going to see a coalition of the Sandernistas and everyone on the alternative right that is going to be convinced that you have sold them out to the “Swamp People,” along with the increasingly desperate unemployed. Apart from protests funded and organized by George Soros and others, I anticipate false flag “whites only” hate grafitti and perhaps even the shooting of a few young protesters, all to be blamed on Trump supporters.

Phantom PhixerTrump Transition Web Site Gives Lengthy Mention of “10th Amendment”

On a new website his transition team has created, he’s advocating for the 10th Amendment, the provision in the U.S. Constitution cited often by conservatives who believe the federal government has usurped rights the Founders meant for the states.   . . .   Boldin noted that in 1798, Thomas Jefferson “wrote that ‘whensoever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.’”
