Integral Mindfulness, Wisdom Society, and Collective Sentience: an exploration into the next stage of human consciousness

Abstracts of my paper for the Mindfulness & Compassion conference in San Francisco, 3-7 June

This contribution to the “Mindfulness & Compassion” conference is focused on where the moral compass of integral mindfulness points. Being integrally mindful is about taking mindfulness off the meditation cushion and infusing all dimensions of our life with it; not only the life of you and me, but also of collective entities, such as organizations, networks, nations.

Very few people know that I was accepted as a candidate for the Reform Party nomination for the presidency in 2012. I used that experience to seek out wizards across the country and consolidate their transpartisan wisdom (not to be confused with bi-partisan complicity) at one web site, We the People Reform Coalition.

On 28 February 2015 I will be facilitating a workshop on Open Power at the Economics of Happiness Conference, an event I recommend to one and all — Jerry Mander will be there, one reason I am personally excited about attending.

Below are the read-ahead documents I have just finished loading to the event post at Phi Beta Iota the Public Intelligence Blog, where I curate over 80 truth-telling editors from around the world, but most true-blue sons and daughters of the USA.

Imagine a country where the majority of the population reaps the majority of the benefits for their hard work, creative ingenuity, and collaborative efforts. Imagine a country where corporate losses aren't socialized, while gains are captured by an exclusive minority. Imagine a country run as a democracy, from the bottom up, not a plutocracy from the top down.

Top US Newsman Brian Williams “Destroyed”, 3 Others Killed Over Obama 9/11 Fears

EXTRACT

… not only has Williams and his reputation been “destroyed”, this past week three of his most important colleagues, former NBC international reporter Ned Colt, top CBS News correspondent Bob Simon, and top New York Times reporter David Carr, were also killed. Bob Simon, 73, this report states quoting US propaganda mainstream media sources, was killed Wednesday in New York City in a car crash, and on Thursday Ned Colt, 58, was said to have perished by a massive stroke followed within hours by David Carr, 58, collapsing and dying in his New York Times newsroom office. Important to note about the deaths of these award winning journalists, and the “reputation destruction” of Williams, SVR experts in this report note, was that the four of them had formed an independent video news company last month and filed the necessary security documents that would allow them access to the Kremlin’s most secret archive of evidence relating to the 11 September 2001 attacks.

Americans Continue to Say a Third Political Party Is Needed

A majority of U.S. adults, 58%, say a third U.S. political party is needed because the Republican and Democratic parties “do such a poor job” representing the American people. These views are little changed from last year's high. Since 2007, a majority has typically called for a third party.

Americans' current desire for a third party is consistent with their generally negative views of both the Republican and Democratic parties, with only about four in 10 viewing each positively. Read full article.
