Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1.  Policy.  Free speech is the bedrock of American democracy.  Our Founding Fathers protected this sacred right with the First Amendment to the Constitution.  The freedom to express and debate ideas is the foundation for all of our rights as a free people.

GOOD: if you create content that offers value, overtime you will be seen even if the search engines are corrupt.

BAD: manipulating backlinks are a death sentence.

UGLY: Google (and individual Google mechanics with no adult oversight) can do whatever they want to you and there is nothing you can do about it with one exception: pay Google extortion fees and be “protected” … for now.

Russia unbans Telegram

Russia's media watchdog Roskomnadzor said Telegram has agreed to help Russian law enforcement fight against extremist and terrorist content shared on its platform.

This is why i no longer advocate Telegram, It is a central app with all your data in a cloud controlled by a company that can be held liable.  The app is not secure with a homebrew security protocol which is leaky. Telegram is known to have censored accounts before and has the ability to check your normal chats(not secret chats) And now us law and russian law have forced Telegram to play the censor game.

Twitter, YouTube Permit Communist Party Misinformation While Aggressively Censoring Conservatives

Surprisingly, even the most stringent websites handled the Chinese propaganda with a light touch, even as they continued to crack down on conservative voices and media organizations. Just today, Facebook removed a Trump campaign ad for using a symbol that a group of left-wing activists claimed to be a “Nazi symbol” (albeit one most Americans, and most Jews, probably wouldn't recognize). Twitter, meanwhile, refuses to remove even tweets with patently false claims, like CCP officials claiming the coronavirus originated in the US.
