I can understand why regular people aren't interested in your vision. They're too busy making ends meet, worrying about how to pay the bills and what to eat for dinner. As HDT writes in Walden, “The necessaries of life for man…may, accurately enough, be distributed under the several heads of Food, Shelter, Clothing, and Fuel; for not till we have secured these are we prepared to entertain the true problems of life with freedom and a prospect of success.” Most people are still struggling to secure these necessaries.

ISIS Caliphate Doomed to Fail

A careful study of the first caliphate (632-661 C.E.) demonstrates that the ISIS caliphate launched by Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi in Iraq is a non-starter. A viable Islamic caliphate would most certainly abolish the kingdoms of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and Morocco, the emirates of United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Oman, and the autocratic governments of Egypt, Syria, and Sudan.

GM says you don't own your car, you just license it

GM has joined with John Deere in asking the government to confirm that you literally cannot own your car because of the software in its engine. Like Deere, GM wants to stop the Copyright Office from granting an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act that would allow you to jailbreak the code in your car's engine so that you can take it to a non-GM mechanic for service, or fix it yourself. By controlling who can service your car, GM can force you to buy only official, expensive parts, protecting its bottom line.

The president of their Israeli subsidiary is Efraim “Effi” Eitam, an Israeli military commander.
Genie Energy will soon be drilling into a vast oil and gas reserve located in the Syrian Golan Heights territory occupied by Israel since 1967. The move would be in clear violation of international law, specifically the Annex to the Fourth Geneva Convention.
