He threatens to neutralize the potential of these voters, or train them as a weapon against their own natural party, while bulldozing inroads to minorities. Web Sites Going The Way Of The Dodo

Browsers are universal and can access any content with a Web address.  Most Web sites also do not have an app counterpart, so the only way to access content is to use the old-fashioned browser.  Another issue is that apps cannot be crawled by search engines, so they are left out of search results. The biggest pitfall for apps is that they have to be downloaded in order to be accessed, which takes up screen space and disk space.

Nexushaus is an amazing and cheap solar living home that is water independent

This one story, energy positive house comes from designers from Technische Universität München (TUM) and the University of Texas at Austin (UTA). Made with almost entirely sustainable materials, a self-reliant water capture and treatment system and solar panels, Nexushaus is currently being constructed and tested in Austin, Texas.  It's a response to a rise in the cost of housing, relative to all the new people moving to the city and an opportunity to build a house that will feed electricity back into the system. The solar panels are enough to power the lighting, air conditioning, household appliances, and an electric car.

One perspective is that the more energy and trust we direct at a system that doesn't deserve our energy and trust, the more lost opportunities accumulate (what could have been). People will counter this broken system, but I don't think it's going to be led by those within the political structure/re-structuring, or even be overtly deliberate.
