Spinning the Inhumanity of our National Policies

Reproduced with permission from original as posted.

We are failing to govern ourselves. The concept of American democracy has been driven from the field by the public relations industry. The balancing act between the poles of public and private interests, performed so deftly by Chester Bowles, William Benton and Harold Burson in the 1950s to protect us from the deceptions of our leaders and the cynicism of the PR industry founded by Edward Bernays, has collapsed. Spinning the morally indefensible is now embedded in our civic DNA.

From its inception, the leaders of our republic chose misleading words to mask the crimes against humanity committed by the markets they created and profited from:

  • Slavery—“our peculiar institution of other persons”
  • Freedom seeking men and women—“fugitives”
  • Peace-loving, welcoming, conciliatory people of the land—“savages”

The US electoral system is totally rigged — in twelve different ways (false flag operations and subversive inciting of violence is a thirteenth way). Barack Obama is wrong when he denies this point, and both CNN and Fox News are in hypocritical complicit betrayal of the public trust when they refuse to be serious about all of this. I was the first to go public with a comprehensive denunciation rooted in what I learned during my brief run as one of three candidates accepted by the Reform Party for its presidential nomination race in 2012. In 2011 my six minute briefing to the Occupy working group on electoral reform made the front page of Reddit and went viral; I also wrote an article, “How I Tested the Boundaries of the Two-Party Tyranny” as published in Reality Sandwich in 2012, and in the same year briefed Hackers on Planet Earth — they know something about the vulnerability of electronic voting machines.

FALSE FLAG RED ALERT: Media plotting with Clinton operatives to gun down democrats and blame it on Trump

My widely-shared article predicting leftists bombings of government buildings was published several days before the GOP headquarters in North Carolina was firebombed by violent leftists. In my original story entitled VOTERS WARNED: You've already lost America… this election is about taking it back in the last non-violent way possible, I wrote, “As all this is going down, you should fully expect violent, extremist leftist to be setting bombs all over the place, with funding for the bombs coming from George Soros, the key funding source of domestic terrorism in America.”

The media's radically one-sided promotion of Hillary Clinton coupled with extremely biased attacks on Donald Trump only confirm to tens of millions of Americans that the system is entirely rigged against them.

From Orwell to Gladwell and Back

The technology of power is moving from the past’s emphasis on privacy and concealment toward more contemporary techniques of diversion, bias, misconception, and willful stupidity. The crude methods that George Orwell summed up in his image of the incinerator-chute “memory hole” are growing into more sophisticated devices for providing the public with misleading frameworks for mentally organizing (or rationalizations for simply ignoring) the overload of available facts, thus making it harder to remember or understand politically inconvenient knowledge.

We see some of the old-fashioned memory-hole techniques at work currently with Wikipedia. Read full article.
