Early Warning is nice. Honest politicians willing to listen and learn is even nicer. We conclude that early warning must be very public and very understandable to the public at large. The challenge for Early Warning is to achieve coherence–no one cares about single issue early warning. The acme of skill is to achieve M4IS2 Early Warning–all threats, all policies, all true costs, “in your face.”

Most recently, INTELLIGENCE for EARTH: Clarity, Diversity, Integrity, & Sustainability provides the strategic, operational, tactical, and technical contexts for leveraging both Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Multinational, Multiagency, Multidisciplinary, Multidomain Information-Sharing and Sense-Making (M4IS2) in order to create a prosperous world at peace–and at one third the cost of what the USA spends on war today.
If an OSA is created–it can only be a success under diplomatic auspices as OMB has twice agreed (provided the Secretary of State asks for it as a sister agency to the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), it could–it should–host the Multinational Decision Support Centre (MDSC) as proposed to DoD and implicitly called for in several Defense Science Board (DSB) reports. The MDSC could be located in Tampa, Florida, as the Coalition Coordination Centre has been, but staffed by intelligence professionals instead of logistics professionals.
Put most simply, an OSA restores intelligence and integrity to the entirety of the US Government, and changes everything about how we do policy, acquisitions, and operations. It restores the Republic.
A six week course using asynchronous forums, blogs, wikis, mindmaps, social bookmarks, synchronous audio, video, chat, and Twitter to introduce the fundamentals of an interdisciplinary study of cooperation: social dilemmas, institutions for collective action, the commons, evolution of cooperation, technologies of cooperation, and cooperative arrangements in biology from cells to ecosystems.

Phi Beta Iota: Coincident with the emergence of the Collective Intelligence and Open Everything movements, and despite the enormous fragmentation of human knowledge by an academy that has lost sight of the importance of multi-disciplinary or “holistic” human intelligence, the field of Evolutionary Psychology is maturing rapidly while also branching to connect to Neuroscience. On the fringe, Cyber-Idiocy is a growth industry, as the mandarins of the past strive to achieve “Full-Spectrum Dominance” not realizing that all they are doing is accelerating push-back from an increasingly self-aware humanity that cannot be repressed.
The first meeting, in Assisi on Saturday 22 January 2011, was off the record. The letter is in the Franciscan Order's hands. The third meeting, with a major trans-Europe foundation, is off the record until the Secretary-General obtains approval to proceed with broad dissemination of the letter.
The second meeting, arranged by Sergio Germani, was by invitation and spanned the various sectors with an emphasis on the government ministries contemplating the need for an Italian national security strategy. This was the only meeting that covered anything other than the letter to the Most Holy Father.

Last week I examined how we might create Infinite Wealth for All, but left for this week the most vital element of life on earth, Water. It is the soul of the Earth, and it is black with the sins of humanity, on the verge of becoming Lucifer's salve for Hell on Earth.
Water is–in its purified form–Heaven on Earth. The water cycle cannot be owned, but it can be destroyed. It is the ultimate manifestation of why we must, as a human species, achieve conscious evolution, integral consciousness, and an active appreciation for clarity (the truth), diversity (the sources of multiple forms of truth), and integrity (the enabler of inter-faith and multi-cultural wisdom and tolerance).
This review focuses on books about water suitable for drinking–less than 1% of the total water on the planet, most of which is oceans and a great deal of which is polluted.
