Iran at the center of the Eurasian riddle

With the dogs of war on full alert, something extraordinary happened at the 19th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) late last week in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Virtually unknown across the West, the SCO is the foremost Eurasian political, economic and security alliance. It’s not a Eurasian NATO. It’s not planning any humanitarian imperialist adventures. A single picture in Bishkek tells a quite significant story, as we see China’s Xi, Russia’s Putin, India’s Modi and Pakistan’s Imran Khan aligned with the leaders of four Central Asian “stans”.

Buchanan Warns, War With Iran Would Become “Trump's War”

Authored by Patrick Buchanan via Buchanan.org,

President Donald Trump cannot want war with Iran.

Such a war, no matter how long, would be fought in and around the Persian Gulf, through which a third of the world’s seaborne oil travels. It could trigger a worldwide recession and imperil Trump’s reelection.

It would widen the “forever war,” which Trump said he would end, to a nation of 80 million people, three times as large as Iraq. It would become the defining issue of his presidency, as the Iraq War became the defining issue of George W. Bush’s presidency.

Narrative Management = Reality Management

The Grayzone‘s Max Blumenthal has published the first part of an investigative series on how so-called non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are being used to manipulate the narrative about what’s going on in Syria by posing as impartial investigative bodies and circulating pro-imperialist disinformation to the western political/media class as objective fact. Part one is titled “Behind the Syrian Network for Human Rights: How an opposition front group became Western media’s go-to monitor“, and it documents a mountain of evidence that one of these “NGOs” is in fact very much state-funded and highly biased in favor of anti-Assad forces, yet still gets cited as an independent source by western mass media outlets in a way that just so happens to help make the case for western interventionism in Syria.

American Gray Swans – Week 24 – When Technology Fails!

When Technology Fails! An excellent book written by Matt Stein. It is a very simple concept. Our world today is totally controlled by technology. And we all know that technology can fail, does fail, and will fail. When we analyze the technological systems in the US, we find that virtually our entire food chain is control by Technology.

The whole concept of the American Gray Swans is to prove to anyone with a brain that our Food Distribution system is controlled by many forms of Technology. And those forms of Technology can fail, and can fail in many ways, and can fail big. Worse yet, some are guaranteed to fail in our present positioning, it is just a matter of time. It is our Achilles Heel, and will be our bane if we ignore it.
